Shibuya / Shimokitazawa & Ginza Detour

Sunday, Jul 19

Flexible day — head to Shibuya early, or ride 5 more minutes on the Keio Inokashira Line to Shimokitazawa for vintage fashion and record stores.

Ginza Detour

Before heading out to Shibuya or Shimokitazawa, swing by ASICS Store Tokyo (Ginza) and Komehyo Ginza — both about 10 minutes from Shiba Park via Onarimon or Daimon Station. See Shopping & Dining for details.

20JUL

Flexible Day

Monday, Jul 20

Azabudai Hills for teamLab Borderless — pre-booked timed-entry slots required. Afterward, explore the complex's architecture, observation deck, and design shops.

Alternatives, if you'd rather:

  • 🗼 Tokyo Tower + Shiba Park stroll: right on your doorstep — a lighter day after the Ginza detour.
  • 🌸 Hamarikyu Gardens + Tsukiji Outer Market: Edo-era garden a short ride away, paired with the Tsukiji strip for grazing.
  • 🎨 Mori Art Museum + Tokyo City View (Roppongi Hills): contemporary art and an observation deck, same neighborhood as Azabudai Hills.
  • 💧 teamLab Planets (Toyosu/Odaiba): a different teamLab show — more water/barefoot-based, historically fewer crowds than Borderless.
  • 🔬 Miraikan (Odaiba): science museum with robotics, space, and a planetarium — pairs well with teamLab Planets if going that route.
Dinner

Sushi Kappou 3 in Roppongi — an easy dinner pick since you're already in the Azabudai Hills/Roppongi area that day. See Shopping & Dining for details.

Afternoon

Back in Shibuya by early afternoon — open for Shibuya exploring, last-minute shopping, or back to Shimokitazawa for crate-digging and cafe hopping. See directory below.

25–26JUL

Departure

Sat Jul 25 – Sun Jul 26

  • Check-out: Tokyu Stay Shibuya.
  • Flight SQ 635: departs Tokyo Haneda (HND) T3, Sat Jul 25, 10:55 PM.
  • Arrival: lands Singapore Changi (SIN), Sun Jul 26, 5:25 AM.

Full day free before the flight — options:

  • 🛍️ Harajuku + Omotesando: Takeshita Street and flagship stores, easy add-on from Shibuya, different flavor from the shopping already covered.
  • 🌆 Shibuya Sky: observation deck right in your home neighborhood — a low-effort last look at Tokyo.
  • 🎎 Meiji Jingu: calm, green counterpoint to the shopping days, an easy walk from Harajuku Station.
  • ✈️ Edo Koji at Haneda: head to the airport a bit early — Haneda's international terminal has a themed Edo-period shopping/dining street plus duty-free.

Luggage note: since check-out is that morning, arrange bag storage near Shibuya Station or ask Tokyu Stay Shibuya if they'll hold bags post-checkout — common for business hotels in Japan.

Getting to Haneda:

  • 🚌 Airport Limousine Bus: direct from Shibuya Mark City to Haneda, no transfers. ~60 min, ¥1,300/adult, ¥650/child — simplest option with luggage.
  • 🚆 Train alternative: Keikyu Line from Shibuya (via Shinagawa transfer) to Haneda. ~30–35 min, ~¥410–510 — faster and cheaper, but involves a transfer with bags.
